Data Distribution

Data Distribution via Box

For security purposes, Scanning Services has moved from e-mail to Box as the distribution platform for course grades and the exam or evaluation statistical reports we produce.

Box is a web-based collaboration and file storage system available to all University of Nebraska faculty, staff and students.

These are the basics:

  • We process your exam or evaluation sheets, then upload your data files into a Box folder that is accessible to you alone and anyone you designate (such as a TA).
  • You’ll set up your Box account (if you haven't already).
  • Then, you'll receive and accept an ”Invitation to Collaborate” email. Access to your file is activated, and you can view it immediately.
  • For the first and all future uploads, we will e-mail you a link to the file and add a comment mentioning something about it, such as, the forms are ready for pick up.

NOTE: Issues can arise where you may not receive the e-mail notification saying your data is available. If you have not heard from us in 24 business day hours (for exams) and 2-3 weeks (for evaluations) after drop off, go to http://unl.app.box.com, log in, and your data should be there.
