Emerging Technologies

Innovations in technology are changing the dynamics of education on an almost daily basis. Learning and Emerging Technologies is dedicated to researching, understanding, and integrating these changes at UNL, ensuring that our faculty and students are best equipped to teach and learn in the 21st century.

Implementing new technology is not necessarily the best pedagogical strategy in all classes. Our goal is to research, test, pilot, and evaluate new instructional technology, assessing it’s effects on teacher practice and student learning outcomes. LET seeks to match emerging technologies with the individual specialties and requirements of each course, so that instructors can confidently use the technology best suited to their teaching needs. To this end, the LET staff welcomes meeting faculty and getting to know them on an individual basis. Stop by our new offices at Brace Hall or call one of our staff to schedule a consultation.
