COVID-19 Scantron Exam Procedures - Spring 2021

"Contactless" Scantron Exam Drop-Off Procedure

  • The customer service window will be closed for the Spring 2021 semester.
  • All paper exams must be campus mailed or submitted using the Drop Box by the east elevator in the Adele Coryell Hall Learning Commons.
  • Wash/sanitize hands prior to touching and bringing the scantron sheets to Scanning Services.
  • Place exam sheets in a manila envelope provided in the hanging wall holder by the Drop Box (if not in an envelope already).
  • Write the Job Order number on the pink sticky note (provided by the wall holder)
  • Place the sticky note on the envelope containing the exams and slide it into the Drop Box.
  • The Drop Box will be checked and all objects and materials will be sanitized by Scanning Services Staff multiple times daily Monday thru Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Safe & Sanitary Processing Procedure
  • Scanning Services staff will use masks and gloves at all times during the entire exam processing procedure.
  • After retrieval of the exam sets, exams will be placed in a safe container and held 72 hours before further handling or processing. This is per a new COVID-19 UNL Libraries paper materials policy to prevent virus spread.
"Contactless" Scantron Exam Return Procedure & Results Access
  • Do NOT pick up exam sets or send someone to pick them up. 
  • All exam sets will be returned daily via campus mail. Please have your correct campus address updated on your exam job order.
  • As usual, all  digital results will be returned via Box and you will be sent a notification when your order has been completed. See the Data Distribution section for more information.
