Activate My Office 365 account sessions


All employees who have not yet migrated their email account to the new Office 365 must activate and/or reset their My.UNL identity credentials PRIOR to activating their new Office 365 email account.

 This reset will synchronize all credentials behind the scenes to enable the My.UNL ID to be a "single sign-on" for email and other UNL online services.  In addition, walk-in training sessions will begin April 24 for employees who do not have local tech support to activate their new email accounts.

Directions for the My.UNL password reset are very simple and take only a few moments to complete.

    •    Go to and login using your My.UNL name and password.**
    •    Click on the "change password" icon
    •    Create a new password and create your security questions
    •    You will receive a confirmation that your new credentials are reset

Once your credentials have been updated, your MyUNL I.D. is prepared for when your department is scheduled to migrate your email.  


Email notifications will be sent to employees who have not yet activated their new email. The email will contain information only without hyperlinks to eliminate any resemblance to phishing requests.

As a reminder, UNL Information Services will NEVER ask you for your passwords in email, on the phone or in person. If you receive any emails that ask you to reveal personal information, please DO NOT RESPOND.  Either delete them or forward them to the Computer Help Center at .
