Endpoint Device Management

Endpoint Device ManagementEndpoint Device Management

The UNL suite of Endpoint Management Tools (EMTs) allow department IT to remotely manage their end user devices from a central console, enhancing security and making support quicker and more efficient.

Endpoint Device Management

Functions such as inventory, operating system imaging, application deployment, patching, and reporting are available. UNL uses Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager to remotely support Windows computers. Jamf Pro is used to remotely support macOS and iOS devices.

Departments can request access to the suite of tools to self-manage their own end user devices. All departments will log into a central server supported by ITS - one for SCCM and one for Jamf Pro. Departments will have sub-groups within the central server for their devices for which they have sole access.
