The first step to finance your purchase is to complete an application at one of our offices or you can apply online. Once we have your application we will process the application and let you know if you have been approved. This process is usually completed within 24 to 36 hours.

Is there an application fee?

No.  The credit union doesn’t have application fees.

Do I need to be a member of the credit union to get a loan for a Huskertech purchase?

Yes. To become a member of the credit union we just ask that you open a share account for $5. Then you are a member of the credit union. Account opening can be easy online at  https://nufcu.org/become-member

Do I need to fill out an application or paperwork to get a loan?

Yes, there is an application that we will have you complete when you come into the credit union. If it is not convenient for you to stop by one of our locations you can apply for the loan online at https://nufcu.org/computer-loans.

How does the loan process work?

We ask you to complete an application. The credit union never charges an application fee. Once you have completed your application we will review the information and let you know if you have been approved. In some cases we may ask you to have a co-signer on the loan.

What kind of information will be asked on the application?

We will need basic information including name, address, date of birth and social security number. The application asks about employment. If you are not employed, please just indicate that on the application, we may ask you to have a co-signer in this instance.  We will also ask you about your monthly expense, which could include rent, car payment or credit card debt. If you have questions while you are completing the application please call our office at 402.472.2087.
