Microsoft returns FindTime Tuesday, April 3, 2018

In March, Microsoft brought back the Outlook add-in and website FindTime, that uses a polling model to simplify group scheduling. FindTime was built to address the issue of connecting with multiple people who can’t see each other’s availability.

Downloading Bb Grades and Assignments for Students Tuesday, March 13, 2018

Outlook 2016 Calendar Bug Friday, March 16, 2018

Update: Microsoft released Outlook update 16.11 on Wednesday, March 14, resolving the calendar issue. Most devices managed by ITS received the update the same day. Users with a device not managed by its should run any available Microsoft updates.

Nebraska Today: New anti-phishing tool deploys Feb. 19 Wednesday, January 31, 2018

In its ever-expanding battle against spam, viruses and malware, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is adding a new line of defense on the email front.

Starting Feb. 19, Information Technology Services will integrate Proofpoint's Targeted Attack Protection to all university email. The extra security level is designed to prevent malicious attachments and fraudulent links from reaching campus inboxes.

Maverick Daily: New Features Coming to Proofpoint Monday, January 22, 2018

ITS will be making two primary improvements to the UNO email service - no action is required on your part. These changes will further calibrate the new Proofpoint anti-phishing and anti-spam service first implemented last March.

UNL Proofpoint Changes, August 5

 Proofpoint is the University’s email security service that helps protect faculty and staff from email threats by securing suspect inbound and outbound email. 

 Starting on Saturday, August 5, 2017, ITS is consolidating systems, and you will receive a new Proofpoint daily digest with the University of Nebraska logo. As we make this change, you may receive duplicate Proofpoint digests on Saturday morning during the transition.
