WEB DEVELOPER STUDENT WORKER (LINCOLN)
The University of Nebraska Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking a creative, part-time Web Developer who is interested in pursuing a career in web design or web development and is excited to try new things, learn new skills, and grow. Our goal is to create an environment that will hone your skills based on your interests.

The ideal candidate is passionate about creating excellent web experiences in a wide variety of websites that support the mission of the University of Nebraska. Candidate should also be knowledgeable in front-end web development technologies (HTML and CSS) and interested in growing in web design and/or web development.

You will be working in a small agile team responsible for the design, development and support of various University of Nebraska websites. Your role will primarily include content conversion and may include Front-End Development, Quality Assurance, Design, Back-End Development, Search Engine Optimization, Security, End-User Support, or other related area depending on interests.

QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with HTML and CSS. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Able to work 15-20 hours per week.
PAY/HOURS: $10/hr. 15-20 hours per week.
DURATION: Approximately 6 months from date of hire.

OPERATIONS ASSISTANT (LINCOLN)
ITS is currently seeking a Tier 1 Assistant to work in the UNL Operations / Call Center. Primary duties include providing general university information and technical support to students and faculty/staff/public by email, phone, or support tickets; including troubleshooting problems with university accounts and services as well as directing switchboard calls throughout the University. Other duties may include supporting the computing needs of faculty staff and students at the University and providing basic audio conferencing services and after hours answering services and support as well as monitoring the operational integrity of the UNL network and the continuing operation of UNL systems and data centers.
QUALIFICATIONS: Highly motivated and driven to provide excellent customer service, ability to maintain a broad and continually evolving knowledge of university technology, policies, procedures, and end user education. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written). Must have a valid vehicle operator's license. Federal Work-Study preferred but not required. 
PAY/HOURS: $10/hr. Up to 29hrs/week during the academic year. Weekend, Evening, and Summer availability preferred. This positions hours will be M-F 8am-11pm and S-S 7:30am-11pm.

DIGITAL LEARNING CENTER (DLC) SUPPORT ASSISTANT (LINCOLN)
ITS is currently seeking a Support Assistant for the Digital Learning Center in Love Library North. Primary duties include assisting UNL students at the DLC reception desk for check-in, check-out, and general assistance. Duties also include, but are not limited to, general communication with student users and faculty members, maintaining exam security, and providing general support for the student testing experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent customer service skills, adherence to UNL confidentiality standards regarding sensitive information, and ability to perform duties in a courteous, friendly and professional manner. Applicants must be reliable and organized with excellent attention to detail. A functional knowledge of computers, including hardware/software trouble-shooting and proficient keyboarding skills, are required. Federal Work-Study preferred but not required.
PAY/HOURS: $10/hour. Up to 29hrs/week. Regular semester hours are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:45a to 10:00p, Saturdays from 12:45p to 5:00p, and Sundays from 12:45p to 10:00p.

SCANNING SERVICES ASSISTANT (GRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY)

ITS is currently seeking Scanning Services Assistant in the Digital Learning Center of Love Library North. Primary job responsibilities include the processing of course tests and evaluations taken on Scantron (“bubble”) sheets, which entails scanning, correcting errors, scoring, and preparing documents for electronic delivery. Some light office work and customer service desk duties are also involved.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate student with excellent customer service skills, adherence to UNL confidentiality standards regarding sensitive information, and the ability to perform duties accurately, responsibly, and be able to work independently. A functional knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and proficient keyboarding skills, are required. Federal Work-Study preferred but not required.

 PAY/HOURS: $10.50/hr. Up to 20 hours a week. Prefer morning or afternoon shift within the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F, but will consider other options and work with your schedule.

INFRASTRUCTURE ASSISTANT (LINCOLN)
ITS is currently seeking an Infrastructure Assistant. Primary duties include assisting the Infrastructure team on daily tasks and projects helping to maintain campus’ communication rooms, certifying/labeling data jacks, working on network data connection activations, and troubleshooting incoming tickets.
QUALIFICATIONS: Reasonably flexible and hard-working, detail-oriented. Federal Work-Study preferred but not required.
PAY/HOURS: $10/hr. Up to 20 hours/week during the academic year. Summer hours possible.
