IT Assistant (UNL)

ITS is currently seeking a Tier 1 IT Assistant. Primary duties include providing technical support to students and faculty/staff by email, phone, support tickets, or in person; including troubleshooting problems with software, operating systems, computer hardware, and network connections.

QUALIFICATIONS: Highly motivated and driven to provide excellent customer service, ability to maintain a broad and continually evolving knowledge of technology, policies, procedures, and end user education. Federal Work-Study preferred but not required.

PAY/HOURS: $10/hr. Up to 29.5 hrs/week during the academic year.

AV Design Assistant (UNL)

ITS is currently seeking an AV Design Assistant. Primary duties include data entry experience for purchasing, product inquiries, and answering phone calls in a customer service setting, scanning, filing, copying, updating/creating spreadsheets and reports for ITS AV Design team. Additional duties will include special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent communication and organizational skills, data entry and/or billing experience, technical assistance, special projects and basic knowledge of accounts receivable.

PAY/HOURS: $10/hr. Up to 20hrs/week during the academic year. Summer hours possible.

Infrastructure Assistant (UNO)

ITS is currently seeking an Infrastructure Assistant. Primary duties include assisting the Infrastructure team on daily tasks and projects helping to maintain campus’ communication rooms, certifying/labeling data jacks, working on network data connection activations, and troubleshooting incoming tickets.

QUALIFICATIONS: Reasonably flexible and hard-working, detail-oriented. Federal Work-Study preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license required.

PAY/HOURS: $10/hr. Up to 20hrs/week during the academic year & summer.

Scanning Services and MySurveys Assistant (UNL) - For Graduate Students ONLY!

ITS is currently seeking a Student Assistant for Scanning Services and MySurveys in the Digital Learning Center of Love Library North. Primary job responsibilities for Scanning Services include: processing of course tests and evaluations taken on Scantron (“bubble”) sheets, which entail scanning, correcting errors, scoring, and preparing documents for electronic delivery. Primary job responsibilities for MySurveys include: management, training and customer support (with an incident ticketing system) of a campus-wide on-line course evaluation system. Some light office work and customer service desk duties are also involved.

QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, adherence to UNL confidentiality standards regarding sensitive information, and the ability to perform duties accurately, responsibly, and be able to work independently. A functional knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and proficient keyboarding skills, are required. Federal Work-Study preferred but not required.

PAY/HOURS: $10.50/hr. We are looking for immediate availability, preferably reaching into the Spring and summer 2020 semesters. Flexible scheduling within the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. M-F, 10 to 15 hrs/week.
